DIRECTION FOR USE:
I. FIELD GROWN PLANTS
Apply uniformly over the soil surface broadcasting material under the canopy. Do not place directly against the trunk. If drip irrigated, band material directly below the drip emitters.
- Newly planted plants 2-4 feet high, use 1 1/2 pounds (2-3 cups) for each plant. Apply 3-4 times per year.
- For palms between 4-6 feet high, use 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. (3-4 cups). Apply 4-5 times per year.
- For plants 7-10 feet high, use 2-3 lbs. (4-6 cups). Apply 4-5 times per year.
- For plants higher than 10 feet, use at the rate of 1/2 lb. per every 2 feet of overall height up to 10 lbs. for a mature specimen greater than 30 feet in height, apply 3-4 times per year.
II. FOR CONTAINERS GROWN PALMS
If palms were initially potted in a soil that had an application of any fertilizer, delay the use of GRACE fertilizer for about 2 months. Then, apply uniformly over the soil surface away from the trunk every 1 1/2 - 2 months to each container using the amounts listed below.
6” diameter container (1 gal.), use 1/2 oz. 10” diameter container (3 gal.), use 1 oz.
12” diameter container (5 gal.) use 2 oz. 14”-15” diameter container (7-10 gal.), use 3-4 oz.
